What Shipping Services do you use?

We ship using the US Post Office (USPS). Our regular service is Priority Mail and International Priority Mail.
We can also use Express Mail and Express Mail International for an additional cost on request.

Do you write "GIFT" on packages?

We do not write "GIFT" on packages as it is illegal and punishable by fines and/or imprisonment.
International buyers are responsible for all customs fees (if any) incurred by their home country for overseas purchases.

How long will it take to get my package?

~We ship 2 times a week (usually Tuesday and Friday) from Las Vegas, Nevada.
~Express Mail is shipped every weekday.
~If your order/payment is received on a shipping day, it will be sent out on the next shipping day (unless it is paid for before 10am PST).

US Priority Mail (2-3 Business Days)
US Express Mail (1-2 Days Based on your zip code)

First Class International - WEIGHT LIMIT 4 POUNDS (Typically 14-40 Business Days. USPS will not quote an exact timeframe for any country)
Priority International Mail (6-10 Business Days*)
Express Mail International (3-5 Business Days*)

*Although rare, Customs may hold your package without notice for as long as 4 weeks.
If they should hold your package, there is nothing that you, us or either of our
Post Offices can do until the package is released.
Customs Fees / Import Duties
are not a part of shipping fees.

There may be customs duties, taxes, or tariffs imposed by the destination country which you may have to pay. 
The amount depends on the value of the merchandise being imported. These charges are in addition to the
shipping costs we quote you. Retroscope Fashions is not responsible for these charges.

You are responsible for any duties, customs fees or other taxes as determined by your country.
They are not a part of shipping charges!


When can I expect a Tracking Number?

Tracking numbers are sent automatically through the www.usps.com website as soon as we print the labels on shipping days.
If you do not receive one by the end of a scheduled shipping day, please check your SPAM filter.

How Can I add Insurance or Signature Confirmation to my package?

Insurance is based on price of the items in your cart. Express Mail covers up to $100 automatically. To add insurance or signature confirmation for Priority Mail packages within the USA, you can purchase it at checkout.

Delivery can take anywhere from 14 to 40 business days, but USPS will not commit to any solid delivery
times for any country. Please do NOT choose this method if you need it right away.

Why do you only take Confirmed addresses for Paypal?

A confirmed address is an address that has been reviewed by PayPal and found to be safe based on information
related to the address. For example, a credit card billing address is confirmed because PayPal can check that
the address is the same as the address on file at the credit card company. This results in less chance of fraud
for the seller AND for the buyer's Paypal account.

Do you give refunds?

We do not give refunds, but we will do an exchange for a different size or something else the same price or more expensive (you pay the difference).

For an exchange:
1. Customer MUST email us with the issue before sending it back.
2. Make sure you have
the original reclosable plastic packaging to send it back with.


Please note that there is no such thing as industry standard sizing. Each manufacturer decides what
their size runs will be. These items are Japanese Lolita/Victorian Aristocrat style and their sizing and
sleeve length is VERY different from our idea of typical US sizing.

Please do not go by size, but rather by the measurements given.

Upon request, we will gladly compare any garment to your measurements before purchase to ensure proper fit.

Our items are all brand new. Occasionally, we do get defective items from the sewing contractor and will gladly
exchange items that are received damaged. Variations in color can occur depending upon your monitor settings.
When in question, go with the description.
If item is received damaged, it can be returned to us within 14 days
for replacement ONLY (21 days for non-US addresses). Customers MUST email us to let us know the item is
being returned for a replacement.


Do you make other sizes of your current garments?

Due to the high expense of our specialty garments, we only carry a limited size range, but we can have our sewing contractor
make any other size needed of any garment we currently carry. Extra charges may be added for length or larger sizes.

How long does it take for a Special Order?

We send our order into the sewing contractor around the first week of each month. It takes about 6 weeks to receive
the finished product, then we ship it directly to you. All special orders must be paid for in advance. Please ensure you
measure yourself according to the directions we will send you upon order approval as special orders are not exchangable
or refundable. Please email us with requests or questions.

Can you make a special commissioned garment for me?

Unfortunately we no longer are doing specially commissioned items as my seamstress is not able to
take on more projects at this time


How do I measure myself for proper fit?

Always have someone else measure while you are standing naturally to get the most accurate results
.
Do NOT pull measuring tape tightly!

Do you have a store I can go to?

We are web based only and do not plan on having a regular store anytime soon so we can keep our prices low.
